About Hoada Campsite
Located about 75 km west of Kamanjab on the way to the Grootberg Pass, Hoada Campsite is a masterpiece of eco-friendly tourism. Tucked away completely out of sight among spectacular, massive granite boulders and mopane trees, this campsite offers an unforgettable wild-romance atmosphere.
The camp features beautifully secluded individual stands and a few group sites. Great care was taken to blend the facilities directly into the natural environment. Each site has its own private ablution block built seamlessly into the rocks, featuring flush toilets and an innovative donkey-boiler system integrated with the braai area to provide hot water for your shower while cooking.
The Rock Pool & Sundowner Deck
The crown jewel of Hoada is its central bar and swimming pool area, which is elevated and nestled directly between huge granite rock formations. Guests can climb up to the wooden deck for a magnificent 360-degree view of the Damaraland landscape, enjoy a refreshing drink at sunset, or take a dip in the crystal-clear rock pool. It is a true off-grid sanctuary that perfectly connects the journey between Damaraland and Western Etosha.
